Skills & Power Skating
Four days of power skating and skills. Two 50 min ice sessions a day to build faster feet, better edges, and softer hands for next season. Power skating in the morning, skills in the afternoon for three age groups, aged 8-16.

Two small-group summer camps in Chetwynd, coached by a four-year WHL player Hayden Smith. Prep for the upcoming season and learn new skills!
Both run at the Chetwynd Rec Centre Arena, in small groups of 15 so every player gets real coaching, not lost in a crowd.

Just 15 players per age group, so your kid gets real coaching every session. No cramming the ice!
Hayden played four years in the WHL and was coached by NHL coaches. Your kid learns what really works.
Every drill is built to help in real games, not just look good in practice. All drills that are actually used at the highest level.
Held at the Chetwynd Rec Centre. Low travel, no hotels, no long drives.

"I grew up playing on these same Northern BC rinks, including right here in Chetwynd. I went on to play four years in the WHL, and along the way I was coached by NHL coaches and got to play with and against guys who are in the NHL now. I learned what real training looks like, and now I want to pass that down to the kids who love this game as much as I do."
Every drill comes back to one question: will this help in a real game? No standing around, no skating in circles to fill an hour. Just real reps your kid can use when the season starts. All drills are the exact same skills drills I did as a semi professional player!
Each camp is capped at 15 players per group to keep instruction better. Once a group is full, that's it. Registration closes one week before each camp, or sooner if it fills up.
